Patta Cycling Team aims to break down barriers for under-represented groups in cycling and build a better future for the sport. Supported by brands like Rapha, Cannondale, and SRAM, the team will engage a younger, more diverse audience through unique content, community programs, and by creating role models. I was asked to take photos during the Patta 150 event, which was a 150-kilometer ride to celebrate the abolition of slavery exactly 150 years ago, on July 1, 2023. Despite the heavy rain during the ride, I was able to capture the event from the bike.
